Sebastian Jacobitz Photographs Book «Berlin After Dark»
The Kurfürstendamm is a long and broad avenue named after the former Kurfürsten (prince-electors) of Brandenburg. Now it’s known as the Ku’Damm, a street lined with with shops, hotels, sidewalk cafes and restaurants and filled with people looking for the latest clothing styles or newest smartphones.
«But when the sun leaves the scene, another characteristic is visible,» says Berlin-based street photographer (and PPD reader) Sebastian Jacobitz.

Clane Gessel: «Las Cuevas de Mármol»
Las Cuevas de Mármol (The Marble Caves) sit in the middle of General Carrera Lake, which lies between Chile and Argentina. The tunnels and caves are only reachable by boat. The swooping arches have been formed by more than 6,000 years of water lapping against the rock, and the waters change color depending on the time of year.
